We are excited to announce that the 2012 IAC Trashion Show: Couture Garbáge will take place on Friday, March 30th, from 5:00pm to 7:00pm upstairs at the Coney.  Thanks to the help of the IUP Fashion Association and the participation of the IUP art and fashion students, this unique fundraiser will feature over 50 edgy, original fashion designs and an incredible plastic sculptural piece made from recycled materials by the IUP art students in Steven Loar’s 3-D Design class.18 designers are signed up for the event so far, but the IAC and the IUP Fashion Association are still looking for people who would like to participate in the show.  Any designers and models that are interested in registering for Trashion can register online.  Anyone interested in volunteering at the event can e-mail Sarah Fritz, volunteer coordinator, at volunteer.indianaartscouncil@gmail.com.
